The nature of home. The sense of belonging. The comforts and discomforts of living together. How do we interpret situations of habitat? How do we appreciate the ways of others? How might we positively cultivate similarities and differences as they apply to humans and nature? We believe art can help us achieve harmony.
DRAW - Show us in images: your view, your memories, something important to you in your home, something that means what home means to you.
It could be inside your heart or mind, it could be a simple object, an abstract emotion, a view out the window or any place or situation that reflects your feelings of home. Is it a house? Is it a room, an object, or a place outdoors?
Is home a sense of calm in your heart wherever you are? Draw your own unique imagery that is personal to you.
The rectangular shape we have provided you is very special. It is a Golden Rectangle with proportions that are found in biological, astronomical, and other forms of energy and nature. Many human-made objects and works of art have these proportions (1:1.618), whether intentional or intuitive. Look closely and you will see that every golden rectangle has a square and a smaller golden rectangle inside it. There is so much to say about this shape, and many others have already said it. Please be curious: look it up!
